The lead changed hands several times. The Bears jumped out to a 2-0 lead early but Missouri battled back with a run in the third and a solo home run by Griffin Moore in the fourth inning to tie the game at 3-3.

Moore scored in the sixth on a single by B.J. Windhorst.

The Bears regained the lead in the seventh with a sacrifice fly by Jason Jennings.
