Welcome to the world of Troy Glenn Reiner Wolverton

I attend the University of Missouri's School of Journalism. Recently, I started working on the Microsoft-Missouri Research Team. It's way cool and I'm really excited to be a part of it!

The savvy Web surfer that I am, I've found a couple of pretty cool web sites. Check some of them out by going to a list of my favorites.

In a Philosophy of Journalism class I took this summer, I wrote an essay on Nicholas Negroponte, the director of MIT's Media Lab. My essay, Journalism Without Journalists, takes a look at what changes Negroponte might foresee in the journalism field.

With Negroponte as my guide, I've started writing for a weekly column called Cyber Chat. I am one of several students who are writing the column; I plan on writing one column a month.

In addition to my philosphy class this summer, I also worked as a reporter for the Columbia Missourian, a daily newspaper affiliated with M.U. I wrote more than 30 articles while covering the local government beat.

I've put together an interactive Web resume that you can visit if you are interested. If your browser does not support tables, go to my old resume.

In addition to a myriad of other projects, I am currently constructing my dad's home page and a home page for his law office.

By the way, I love email. You can reach me at [email protected]
